Brazilian Grand Prix – Practice 1: Rain affected session

Sao Paulo, 15 November 2019 – Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc were third and fourth quickest come the end of the first free practice session for the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Rain. Rain affected the track condition for the entire session, with drivers only attempting to run on slick tyres at the very end. The Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow drivers tried both types of rain tyre, starting on full wets before switching to intermediates. With track finally drying, Seb and Charles ended the session on the Soft compound tyre to set their personal best laps of 1’17”041 and 1’17”285 respectively. They each completed 13 laps.

Second session. The cars are back on track for a further 90 minutes of free practice at 3pm local time (19 CET.)
