With the almost immediate “sold out” of number 24, the race to prepare for the number 25 starts.
The long wait for the release of issue 24 - forcibly delayed by months, due to the pandemia of last winter / spring - which unfortunately all fans and professionals had to endure. But in the end created so much anticipation and interest in… the long-awaited copies of the new Yearbook which is almost sold out. This is also due to the even greater attention to contents and richness, as well as its exclusivity of the contents, which have been increased again.
And it is with this spirit that, in addition to thanking all our readers and passionate collectors from all over the world, the race for the preparation of issue 25 has already begun: the edition that will finally allow us to crown a milestone as prestigious as it is incredible : a quarter of a century of Menu dei Motori! It seems impossible, thinking back to the first issues made in the 90s of the last century, with the fundamental collaboration of the Lauro Restaurant, without which the “Menu dei Motori” probably could never have been born. But in these 25 years there have been many transformations and changes and not only on the the Menu dei Motori, but in general of our entire society and the whole world.
It remains to say that “Menu dei Motori” was undoubtedly the first, when there was still no talk of “Land of Motors” or “Motor Valley” (at the time the epicenter of Italian motorsport seemed to be Turin, and not Modena ). Thus, “Menu dei Motori” has opened a new path, thanks to the foresight of two pure Emilians, such as Lauro Malavolti, owner of the Lauro Restaurant in Modena at the time and now known all over the world for his “Lauro Collection” (a collection of historical posters of roaring races, unique in the world) and Prof. Fabrizio Ferrari, designer, journalist and University Professor, for over 30 years involved at various levels within the “Modena Planet”. Those who live and work within the “Modena Planet” have the opportunity to experience the passion and farsightedness of these two true DOC Emilians who, first of all, firmly believed that the true Italian motor center and beyond , is actually the magic triangle that has Modena as its epicenter and almost all of Emilia Romagna as its reference area.
In addition, “Menu dei Motori”, was not only the first to open this new way, but also to celebrate the unique combination of engines and typical food and wine products, underlining, also in this case first, a truly unique combination and without equal in the world!
This is why number 25 will still be a very special issue, with many surprises and many innovations, but above all the ideal container of a unique and unrepeatable story, which could only be born and developed in that unique area in the world that represents the “Planet Modena “!
